A rich, holiday burgundy and some warm and cozy, lace up booties. I wore my favorite, super tiny and dainty "California" necklace and some big and shiny studs. Add matching lipstick and big bouncy curls.
Classy and simple. A little-black, leather dress with a gold bib necklace and some suede lace-up shoes. I used a neutral but shiny brown lipgloss and wore my hair in beachy waves.
Dress: Forever 21
Bib Necklace: Target
Someone always throws a glam-y holiday party, and this outfit is perfect for any sequin Christmas soiree. I wore a little off-the-shoulder top, some basic black booties, and my favorite gold sequin skirt in the world. Add red lipstick and dangly earrings.

Holiday Party coming up? Don't sweat it! Holiday parties are the most fun because you can dig deep in your closet and resurrect all of your glitter, sequins, and red lipstick.
Go for dark and rich colors, bold eyes, and fun prints and textures like this crushed velvet top, fur vest, and sequined maroon choker. My formula for Christmas parties is One bold color, one statement piece, and one texture to match, topped off with dark, matte lipstick.

My poor California girl heart can hardly take it, the end of summer is almost here. There's only two weeks left. I think I'm the only white girl who doesn't want fall to be here. Luckily I live in southern California, so, it's pretty much summer until Christmas. Here's some outfit inspiration to help you live up some of the summer trends in your last two weeks, until fall is officially here.
Is summer really over? The not going to school part? How did that even happen, June was like last week. I moved to California in January, so my internal season changer is very confused as to why it's been summer for the last eight months. But, even though school is here again, we have a whole month of summer left. So break your rompers and off the shoulder tops out and get your paddle boards, because there's 4 more weeks to live it up!
Here's a little something to give you some live-it-up inspiration.
I really can't help it anymore, I have off the shoulder fever. It's a gift and a curse. This flowy number is from Forever 22, along with the sandals, paired with a lighter wash denim. In love, cue the googly eyes for off the shoulder.
These strappy heels definitely qualify to be buy of the week material. They were two dollars. Two buckaroos people. Thrift stores in Newport Beach are where it's at. Strappy heels are perfect for seriously any outfit. A sundress like this, a formal dress for an event, boyfriend jeans and a statement necklace, they can do it all.
Right outside of Santa Barbara, bring your cameras and paddle boards folks.
